Whatcom Museum Delves Into Victorian Secrets

Bellingham, Wash. -- The Whatcom Museum is inviting those 21 and over to partake in an evening of “Victorian Secrets” and “after dark-merriment” at Old City Hall Saturday night.

The “Night of Revelry and Revelation; Suds and Duds” will connect people to our city’s scandalous past by visits from Whatcom County’s own improper ladies “The Good Time Girls.”

Organizers say local stories from the period will help to bring our history alive.

Museum Education and Public Program Coordinator, Chris Brewer says patrons may come as themselves or in period costume.

Attendees may participate in an artifact scavenger hunt and enjoy a no-host bar with Boundary Bay “suds” and snacks.

The event is from 7 to 10:30 p.m.

Admission is $5 for museum members and $8 for non-members.
