United Airlines Orders 150 Boeing 737's

CHICAGO, Ill.  (Metro)  -- United Airlines announces it's ordering 150 Boeing 737's, including 100 Max-9's and 50 900ER's.

It's a deal worth $14.7 billion at list prices.

Boeing officials say with the order, the 737 becomes the first commercial airliner to exceed 10,000 orders.

The 737 Max is a more fuel-efficient version of Boeing's current 737.
