Taylor Swift is single again after splitting from her boyfriend Conor Kennedy, according to a report.

The unlucky-in-love country star romanced the 18-year-old son of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. throughout the summer and spent long weekends at his family's compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts.

Swift later flew the high school senior to meet her parents in Nashville and she also purchased a beachside home in the same Cape Cod neighborhood as her beau's grandmother, Ethel Kennedy.

However, after just a few months of dating, the pair has called it quits due to distance issues - Conor is currently enrolled in a Massachusetts boarding school, while the country star is touring the world promoting her new album Red, which was released in America this week.

A source tells UsMagazine.com, "They quietly parted ways a while ago. It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They're fine... It's been over a month since they've even seen each other. With her promotion for Red, she has no time off until the end of the year."

It's the latest high-profile romance that has fallen flat for Swift - she has also dated Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Joe Jonas and Taylor Lautner.
