Suspect In Beating Death Pleads Not Guilty



MOUNT VERNON, Wash.  (Metro)  -- A man who faces a second-degree murder charge in the beating death of his landlord pleads not guilty in a Mount Vernon courtroom. 

Justin Morgan Daly is accused of using a baseball bat in the fatal assault of Louis Auriemma, who was found dead earlier this month at his home near Sedro Woolley. 

Trial for Daly has been set for January 7. 

His bail is set at $1 million.
