Survey Says Most Washington Residents Support Medicaid Expansion

Seattle, Wash. (Metro) -- About two-thirds of Washington state residents support Medicaid expansion.

That is what a new Elway survey commissioned by the Washington State Hospital Association says.

The state Senate's Health Committee chair, Republican Randi Becker, has told the "Puget Sound Business Journal" she thinks the Senate is leaning toward expansion.

Governor Jay Inslee and majority House Democrats support it.
