Study Says Decades Of Pot Arrests Have Cost State Plenty
NEW YORK, NY (Metro) -- A new study says 25 years of marijuana arrests costs Washington State more than $300 million.
According to "The Seattle Times," the analysis from City University of New York says there were 241,000 arrests.
It also says African-Americans were arrested twice as often as whites, even though whites used more pot.
This came up at a debate on marijuana legalization Initiative 502 Wednesday night.
