Rihanna says she's still single

Rihanna appears to be stalling on giving up life as a singleton amid reports she has reconciled with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown - she insists she isn't dating.

The singer was promoting her new album during a recent taping of the Ellen DeGeneres Show and revealed that although she's getting more action in the bedroom than she was the last time she appeared on the program, she's not in a relationship.

Asked if she was dating anyone "right now", the pretty star said, "No", but she confessed she is beginning to get a little broody - and she has no intentions of being a single mom: "I would prefer to, you know, have a full family. I'm pretty sure I could handle if I had to on my own but that's not what I'm striving for."

Rumors of Rihanna's romance with Brown have been rife ever since he split from his model girlfriend Karrueche Tan last month, but despite public shows of affection, the "Umbrella" singer has been keen to dismiss reunion talk.

But she remains fond of Brown, telling TV personality Andy Cohen she thinks the "Kiss Kiss" hitmaker is "dope" and "kinda alright" in an interview last week.

Rihanna and Brown split in 2009 following a violent altercation on the eve of the Grammy Awards. Brown was subsequently charged with assault and ordered to stay away from the singer. The order was dropped last year and the former couple has since been working together in the studio.
