TUMWATER, Wash. (Metro) -- As liquor thefts rise under Washington's new privatized liquor sales system, police are requesting a change in state liquor rules.
KING-TV says the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs wants the state to start requiring retailers to report when alcohol is stolen.
They don't have to now.
The state Liquor Control Board will say only that it is willing to consider the change.
