Maroon 5 wants fans for new music video

Maroon 5 is urging fans to offer up footage they have shot for the band's next video.

The "Moves Like Jagger" hitmakers are preparing to release "Daylight," and they want their devotees to appear in the clip.

A post on their website reads, "The Daylight Project is a concept that involves everyone. We are looking for your help. Send us your own films for the next Maroon 5 video."

"This song means a lot to the band and your involvement is going to make the video special and unique. Your voice, your story and your idea will create this music video."

Frontman Adam Levine adds, "We want to turn the cameras round on our fans. What makes you special, what do you do, what do you love, what are you passionate about? Our next video is directed by you."
