Luke Bryan sweeps American Country Awards

Luke Bryan dominated the 2012 American Country Awards, taking home seven trophies on Monday night.

The "Drunk On You" hitmaker won every prize he was nominated for, including Album of the Year for "Tailgates & Tanlines" and the prestigious Artist of the Year title.

Accepting the latter, Bryan acknowledged his fans, management and road crew, before adding, "I want to thank my wife. I love you, baby. This is crazy. Wow."

He was also named the Male Artist of the Year and took home Single Of The Year and Music Video Of The Year for "I Don't Want This Night to End."

Lady Antebellum were voted Group Of The Year and Lauren Alaina was hailed the New Artist Of The Year, while Jake Owen was the Breakthrough Artist Of The Year.

Country sweetheart Carrie Underwood was also a big winner at the event - she scooped the Female Artist Of The Year crown, and shared the Single Of The Year - Vocal Collaboration award with Brad Paisley for their duet "Remind Me."

The third annual American Country Awards, which aired live from Las Vegas, was hosted by Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth and featured performances from Dierks Bentley, Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town and Lady Antebellum.
