Liquor Theft Reported Exploding Under Privatization

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- There's another report that liquor theft is exploding under Washington's new voter-approved privatized liquor sales system.

KOMO-TV says some liquor thieves are not even trying to hide their crimes and are getting violent with security officers who try to stop them.

The Seattle Police Department believes organized rings are involved.

Complicating matters is the fact that some stores have no-confrontation policies.
