Hundreds March In Support Of Embattled U.S. Catholic Nuns

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Hundreds of people have marched in Seattle to support politically liberal U.S. Catholic nuns who are being challenged by the more conservative Vatican.

During yesterday's march, the nuns were meeting with Seattle Archbishop J. Peter Sartain in St. Louis at an annual conference.

The Vatican has Sartain working with the nuns to get them away from what it calls 'radical feminist views.'
