Hulk Hogan files criminal report in response to sex tape leak

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has filed a criminal police report in Florida in an attempt to track down the person responsible for leaking his sex tape.

Editors at Gawker.com recently posted a 90-second preview of the steamy footage on their website. It featured the star and Heather Clem, the former wife of wrestler and radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge.

Hogan has ordered bosses at the website to take the video clip down, but they have yet to comply, and so on Tuesday an attorney for the sportsman filed legal papers at the Clearwater Police Department, asking detectives to help track down the culprit who invaded the 59 year old's privacy and recorded him without permission.

Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, appeared on U.S. breakfast show Today on Tuesday to reflect on the incident, insisting the sex tape scandal has been traumatic for his family and new wife Jennifer McDaniel.

He said, "It's appalling. It's flipped my life totally upside down... Jennifer is rattled, to say the least. She's not part of this media life. It's something devastating to me, I've never been through anything on this level."
