The Squalicum boys are your 2A State Champions

YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - Michael Greene led four Squalicum players
in double figures with 24 points, and the Storm beat
Burlington-Edison 67-63 on Saturday to claim its second straight

12 3s in the semifinals against Ephrata - the Storm worked the ball
inside to Greene and Christopher Qualls, who finished with 11
points.
Derek Dickerson, the tournament's MVP, and Patrick Voeut, an
all-tourney selection, also scored 11 points each for Squalicum.
B-E was led by all-tourney pick Evan Coulter, who scored 25

Squalicum withstands Simon's 48 to beat Ephrata

YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - Derek Dickerson scored 28 points and
top-ranked Squalicum survived the record 48-point performance by
Ephrata's Patrick Simon in a 77-62 semifinal victory Friday night

Simon's performance pulled Ephrata back into a game that
seemingly was over early in the second quarter. After the Tigers
(22-3) took a 6-2 lead, Squalicum (25-1) ran off 27 straight points
for a 29-6 lead just two minutes into the second quarter.

second half, but could never get closer than 13.

Stackhouse chipped in 11.
