Brad Pitt Donates $100,000 To Marriage Equality Campaign



WASHINGTON D.C.  (Metro)  -- Brad Pitt is putting his money where his mouth is. 

The Hollywood star and longtime advocate for same-sex marriages, has pledged to donate $100,000 to the Human Rights Campaign. 

The gay rights group is working overtime to secure marriage equality in the final days of the election cycle. 

In a statement, Pitt said he would double every dollar donated to supportive ballot initiatives  --  in states like Maryland, Maine, Minnesota and Washington  --  up to $100,000. 

The actor says, "I'm not going to back down from the fight for loving and committed couples to have the ability to marry."
