2010 NBA Draft

1. Washington - John Wall G - Kentucky - Good building block for a Wizards team that needs some star power to wipe out the bad memories of the 09-10 season.
2. Philadelphia - Evan Turner, G - Ohio State - I Like Turner's all around game better than Wall. Best player in college last year, injury and all!
3. New Jersey - Derrick Favors, F - Georgia Tech - Love this selection for the Nets. Adding Favors to the front court with Lopez is huge, plus they still have room for some free agents.
4. Minnesota - Wesley Johnson, F - Syracuse
5. Sacramento - Demarcus Cousins, C - Kentucky - Don't like this move, especially after the trade for Delambert. Questions about attitude could de-rail the youth movement in Sac-Town.
6. Golden State - Epke Udoh,  F - Baylor
7. Detroit - Greg Monroe C - Georgetown - Big steal for the Pistons who need a dominant big-man who can handle the ball!
8. L.A. Clippers - Al-Farouq Aminu, F - Wake Forest
9 Utah - Gordon Hayward, F - Butler - Made the most out of Butler's Cinderella NCAA tourney run. Best perimeter guy in the draft. Will get an opportuntiy to contribute right away after Boozer bolts.
10. Indiana - Paul George, F - Fresno State
11. New Orleans - Cole Aldrich, F - Kansas - Expected to be traded to Oklahoma City
12. Memphis - Xavier Henry, F - Kansas
13. Toronto - Ed Davis, F - North Carolina - Fans hope Davis will be a Bosch replacement, they will be disappointed!
14. Houston - Patrick Patterson, F - Kentucky
15. Milwaukee - Larry Sanders, F - Virginia Commonwealth
16. Minnesota - Luke Babbit, F - Nevada -
Great shooter, going to Portland for Martell Webster. I like the pick, love the trade. Portland needed some perimeter help.
17. Chicago - Kevin Seraphin, F - France -
Can you say PROJECT? Sounds like a guy who will stay overseas and not clog up the roster or the payroll for some pricey free-agents. Hmmmmm.....
18. Oklahoma City - Erik Bledsoe, G - Kentucy
19. Boston - Avery Bradley, G - Texas -
Did Ray Allen's shooting woes in the NBA Finals force the C's to make this pick?
20. San Antonio  - James Anderson, G - Oklahoma St, - Not in love with this pick for an aging Spurs club. They have guards that can shoot. they need help up front.
21.  Oklahoma City - Craig Brackins, F Iowa State
22 Portland - Elliot Williams, G Memphis -
Portland is always busy on draft day. Is this pick for some other team?
23. Minnesota -Trevor Booker, F Clemson -
Rights traded to Washington
24 Atlanta - Damion James, F Texas -
Rights traded to New Jersey
25 Memphis - Dominique Jones, G South Florida
26. Oklahoma City - Quincy Pondexter, F Washington -
NOOOOOO! Whew, Q-Pon will be traded to New Orleans. It'll be nice to have him back in Seattle one day when the Hornets have to leave the Big Easy for the Emerald City.
27. New Jersey - Jordan Crawford G Xavier - Rights traded to Atlanta.
28 Memphis - Greivis Vasquez G Maryland
29 Orlando - Daniel Orton C Kentucky -
Make it a clean sweep of 5 Wildcats in the first round.
30 Washington - Lazar Hayward F Marquette - Rights traded to Minnesota

That's my first blush look at the 1st round. I'll update trades and give out some winners and losers on Friday.
