Baby Injured In Domestic Dispute: Mother In Jail

BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- A 6-month-old baby is in the hospital and her mother is in jail following a domestic dispute in a home on Texas Street Tuesday Evening.

Bellingham Police say 42-year-old Tami Hermina Olson was drunk when she awoke to find another woman holding the baby.

She became upset, grabbed the baby and began assaulting the woman, a relative of the baby’s father.

The father took the baby away from Olson and she began assaulting him, injuring the child in the process.

Police Spokesman Mark Young says Olson’s Belligerence continued after she was arrested.

Olson was booked into the Whatcom County Jail on a number of charges.
