Areas Of Puget Sound Reopening For Late Season Crabbing

OLYMPIA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Most marine areas of Puget Sound will reopen for recreational fishing this Saturday.

The state Department of Fish and Wildlife says a new count shows more crab than expected available for harvest.

Parts of beaches in Neah Bay, the eastern Strait of Juan de Fuca, the San Juans, Deception Pass, Hood Canal and other areas will be open seven-days-a-week through December 31.

Agents will enforce catch limits.
