KPUG hits the road on Thursday. Join The Zone as they broadcast live from Data Link West at 2001 Masonry Way just off Bakerview Road from 3:00pm to 5:30pm. Stop by and enter to win a pair of tickets to the Seattle Lou Piniella Hall of Fame Luncheon August the 8th at Safeco Field and tickets to that night’s game against Chicago. We’ll also fee you with Hemplers hot dogs on Franz Buns and Pepsi products. Don’t miss The Zone Thursday at Data Link West.

Rules:

KPUG is off to the Seattle Hall of Fame Luncheon honoring former Manager Lou Piniella and you could join KPUG at our table! Complete an entry form with your first & last names, city of residence, phone number, and birthdate and place it in the marked box at the KPUG Broadcast Table at Data Link West at 2001 Masonry Way, just off Bakerview between 3pm-5:25pm on Thursday, July 24th.  At approximately 5:30pm, one winner will be randomly drawn to win a pair of passes to the Lou Piniella Seattle Mariners Hall of Fame Luncheon on August 8th and two tickets to that night’s Seattle Mariners game at Safeco Field…a total retail value of $396.80.  Winner will be notified by telephone. One entry per person. You must be present to enter.  If the winner is found to be an ineligible entry, it will be disqualified and a new entry drawn.

KPUG contests are open to all eligible US Citizens, residing in Washington state, age 18 or older, that have not won anything on KPUG in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of KPUG, Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the KPUG main studios are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.   We will make reasonable efforts to award prizes within 30 days after winning.

Hawks’ G Korver out for the playoffs with sprained ankle

Cleveland Cavaliers' Matthew Dellavedova (8), from Australia, is chased by Atlanta Hawks' Kyle Korver in the second quarter of an NBA basketball game Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, in Cleveland.

The Hawks announced Saturday that Korver has a severe high right ankle sprain. A foot and ankle specialist will determine the best course of treatment, but he definitely won't play again in the postseason.
